Playing 6d at Caesars in Vegas with two others at my table. The count goes south with three decks left so I stand up and declare, “I’m going to take a break…you guys go ahead without me.” I use the opportunity to stretch my legs, pace around a bit and keep an eye on the count in case it goes back into positive territory; it didn’t.
When I see the cut card come out I wander back to the table and one of the players says to me, “Oh my God, that was a slaughter…what did you know that we didn’t know?”
The ONLY thing that comes to mind it a line from the movie Snatch where Franky “Four Fingers” (played by Benicio del Toro) states, “Bubbe, I probably know a lot you dont.”
Of course I didn’t say that to them. Instead, tried to fight off a grin and console them with, “Oh no!…did things turn ugly?”
